4. We also subject meat to such processing, grinding and liquefaction - without, however, any damage to its freshness - that even the slight heat of a diseased stomach turns them into a full-fledged milky juice with the same ease with which ordinary meat is digested by a healthy stomach
5. But most importantly, we reproduce the heat of the sun and other heavenly bodies, which we subject to various changes, passing through cycles, increasing or decreasing, and thereby achieving amazing results
6. We have also discovered various, not yet known to you, ways to receive light from various bodies. We have found ways to see objects at a great distance, as, for example, in the sky and in distant places; we can represent close objects as distant, and distant objects as close, and we can artificially create the impression of any distance. We have visual instruments far superior to your spectacles and spyglasses. There are glasses and instruments that make it possible to clearly see the smallest objects, such as the shape and color of midges, worms, grains or flaws in precious stones, which otherwise could not be detected, and to find substances in the blood and urine that are also invisible in any other way
7. We have devices that, when applied to the ear, greatly improve hearing
8. We can make a weak sound strong and thick, and a thick sound weakened or piercing; and we can make the sound tremble, which is born whole
